Built From the Frame Up.

Every Retro Ride begins in our Jasper shop, where steel, fiberglass, paint and detail work come together one build at a time.

The frame.

We cut, bend and weld the steel tubing in our shop, powder-coat it twice and mount independent front suspension underneath. It is the foundation for everything that follows.

The body.

Each fiberglass body is laid by hand, shaped with classic 4x4 lines and finished to automotive standards.

Questions Worth Asking Before You Build.

Is it street legal?

Street legal where LSVs are permitted. Every Retro Ride comes with a VIN and a manufacturer’s certificate of origin, along with seat belts, turn signals, headlights and taillights. Requirements vary by state and town, so check the rules where you plan to drive it.

How fast does it go, and how does it charge?

A Retro Ride is capable of 25+ MPH and charges from a regular outlet through its onboard charger. The standard battery goes about 30 miles on a charge, and the extended battery 50 to 60 miles. Trey will help you choose the right one for the way you plan to use it.

Can you build a one-of-one?

Yes. We create one-of-one commissions for owners, businesses, venues and brands, including custom bodies, branding and fleets. Choose “A one-of-one custom” in the form and tell us what you have in mind.

Can I see one in person?

Ask us what may be available near you. Our shop is in Jasper, Georgia, and we’ll help you find the closest place to see a Retro Ride in person.

What about service?

We’re your first call. We’ll help you find a trustworthy shop nearby, and most shops can work on a Retro Ride.

Tell Us What You Want to Build.

Start with five quick questions, then your contact details. If your timing and budget fit, you’ll choose a time for a 30-minute Design Meeting with Trey, where he’ll design and quote your build.
